- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cake flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 5 Tbs. unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup chopped toasted hazelnuts
- 1 Tbs. raw or coarse sugar
