Jordan Rolls

Place sugar, salt, 2 cups of flour, and yeast in a large mixing bowl
- 1/2 * 1/2 C solid vegetable shortening
- 1/2 * 1/2 C Sugar
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 * 2 pkg yeast
- 5 * 5 C all purpose flour
- 2 * 2 eggs
- 1 * 1 stick butter or margarine, melted (plus more for brushing baked rolls with)
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 C warm water (like a baby’s bath temperature, this is key with working with yeast)
Spaghetti Sauce, Super Easy

Dump all ingredients into slow cooker
- 2 * 2 cans or jars of Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 * 1 – 15 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 * 1 – 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 T Italian Seasoning
- 1 * 1 T sugar
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
Fried Green Tomatoes

Go ahead and slice your tomatoes to about 1/2 inches in thickness
- 4 * 4 large green tomatoes
- 2 * 2 eggs
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 * 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 * 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/8 * 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- * Vegetable oil for frying
Pumpkin Pie

Mix all of the ingredients together well in a large mixing bowl by hand or use an electric mixer for 2 minutes
- 1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (real vanilla, not imitation)
- 1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon each- salt, nutmeg, ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon each- cloves and allspice
- 1 ( 6 oz.) graham cracker pie shell or 1 regular 9 inch unbaked pie shell
- optional- whipped topping
Slow Cooker Chicken With Biscuits

In a slow cooker, layer the chunks of uncooked chicken breasts with chopped onion and celery
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds boneless chicken breast halves, cut in large chunks
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken or cream of chicken and mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 jar (12 ounces) chicken gravy
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon dried leaf thyme
- Dash black pepper
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
- 6 frozen biscuits or refrigerator biscuits
Almond Coconut Pancakes (Grain-Free)

- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon oil/fat (olive oil, butter, coconut oil, ghee)

- 12 large eggs, beaten* $
- 1/2 cup crumbled garlic-and-herb feta cheese**
Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Put a pot of water on to boil (about six to seven cups of water)
- 2 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni
- 2 1/2 Tablespoons flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- Pepper to taste (I use about a teaspoon)
- 4 Tablespoons margarine
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk

Okra and Corn with Tomatoes

Serve this Carolina favorite over a bowl of long-grain rice with a piece of hot cornbread
- 2 tablespoons each butter and canola oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced into rounds
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon each thyme, red pepper flakes and basil
- 1 green bell pepper, seeded and finely diced
- 3 large fresh ripe, tomatoes seeded and chopped
- 4 ears corn, remove kernels, about 2 cups
- (may use frozen or canned whole kernel, drained)
- 2 cups small okra pods, left whole or 1/4-inch-thick rounds
- 1/2 cup water or chicken stock
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
