- 1 8 oz. jar of Braswell's pepper Relish
- 1 1/2 cans of Blackeyed Peas
- 1 Can Corn
- 1 Med. Diced Onion
- 1 Med. Green Pepper
- 2 Seeded Tomoatoes
- 2/3 jar of 8 oz. Italian dressing
- Optional Avacado

In large bowl, cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla ext.
- 3.5 cups flour
- 1 cup baking cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- Frosting
- 1/3 cup softened butter
- 3 cups confectioners sugar
- 1/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 3 to 4 tablespoons milk

In a large saucepan, sauté the onions in the olive oil on medium high heat until well browned, but not burned, abo...
- 6 large red or yellow onions, peeled and thinly sliced.
- Olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 cups of beef stock, chicken stock, or a combination of the two (traditionally the soup is made with beef stock)
- 1/2 cup of dry vermouth or dry white wine
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon of dry thyme
- Salt and pepper
- 8 slices of toasted French bread
- 1 1/2 cups of grated Swiss Gruyere with a little grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 LB Italian Sausage (I use turkey italian sausage) in bite size pieces, browned
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 6 beef bouilion cubes
- 8 cups of water
- 2-3 sliced carrots
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (Italian style if you can find them)
- 1 small package(9 oz) of refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1-2 zucchini thinly sliced

King Ranch Casserle
