Ingredients

    Cup Sugar

  • 1

    egg

  • 1 1/4

    Cup Flour

  • 1

    Stick melted butter

  • 1 1/2

    tsp almond extract

  • 2/3

    cup milk

  • 1/2

    tsp baking powder

  • powdered sugar

  • sliced almonds

  • 12

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray pan with a non-stick cooking spray. Combine sugar, egg, almond extract and milk. Mix in flour and baking powder. Add butter. Mix well. Pour batter in pan and back at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until edges turn gold brown. Cool cake completely before removing from pan. Drizzle with confectioners icing, and sprinkle with toasted sliced almonds.
