  • 1 cup all purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

  • 3 cups panko (japanese bread crumbs) - divided
  • 1 c. chopped red bell pepper

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 t chili powder

This is NOT a chinese recipe but a Portuguese version made with brown sugar and vinegar

  • Add:
  • 3 1/2 lbs chicken (I use breast and thighs with skin)
  • squeeze fresh lime on chicken, sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper.
