Chinese Noodle Candy

This candy works great with other homemade candy
- 1 lb. butterscotch wafers
- 1 small can salted peanuts
- 5 oz. can chow mein noodles
Mushroon Salisbury Steak

In bowl combine cornstarch and consomme until smooth
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1 jar mushrooms
- 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 t. basil
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. breadcrumbs
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 t. seasoned salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
Poppy Seed Bread

Combine all dry ingredients togethr in mixing bowls
- GLAZE:
- 3 c. flour
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 T. poppy seeds
- 1 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1 1/2 t. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. oil
- 1 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 1/2 t. almond extract
- 1 1/2 t. butter extract
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 1/2 t. each vanilla, butter and almond extract
Veggie Lasagna

This is both simple and delicious
- 15 oz. ricotta cheese
- 2 c. shredded mozzarella
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. shredded carrots
- 1 box frozen-chopped broccoli
- 9 Lasagna cooked noodles
- 1 jar (26oz.) Chunky Gardon Prego Sauce
Green Bean Casserole

Great for Thanksgiving or any holiday
- 2 T. butter
- 2 T. flour
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. sugar
- 1/4 C. onion, diced
- 1 C. sour cream
- 3 - 14.5 oz. French style grean beans, drained
- 2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 C. crumbled buttery round crackers
- 1 T. butter, melted
Oyster Crackers

Whisk together all ingredients except crackers
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch - Original Recipe
- 1/2 t. dill weed
- 1/4 t. lemon pepper
- 1/4 t. garlic powder
- 12 oz. oyster crackers
Zesty Broccoli Casserole

Preheat oven to 375 Arrange broccoli in even layer in an 11x7-inch baking dish with cooking spary
- 3 (10 oz) pkgs. frozen broccoli, thawed
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 1/2 T. flour
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 3/4 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. cream cheese
- 1 c. mayo
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz) sliced water chestnuts
- 3/4 c. Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 t. butter, melted
Oven-Fried Chicken Parmesan

Preheat oven to 450. Combine first 3 ingredients in a shallow dish; place egg whites in a bowl
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 t. dried oregano
- 1/4 t. salt
- 2 large egg whites, slightly beaten
- 3/4 c. panko breadcrumbs
- 4 (6 oz) skinless, boneless chicken breast
- 2 T. olive oil divided
- 1/2 c. tomato-basil pasta sauce
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
Baken Potato Soup

Preheat oven to 400. Pierce potatoes with a fork, bake for 1 hour or until tender
- 4 baking poatoes
- 3 oz. flour
- 6 c. milk
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 1 c. sour cream
- 3/4 c. chopped green onions, divided
- 6 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
Taco Chicken

- FILLING:
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 lb. box velveta cheese, cubed
- 1 med. onion, chopped fine
- 1 med. green pepper
- 1/2 can Rotel tomatoes
- 1 chicken - boiled and deboned
- tortilla chips
