Salad: Grilled Caesar Salad (adapted from Cook's Country)

Soak minced garlic clove in the lemon juice for 10 minutes to soften the garlic potency
- 1 ⁄4 cup olive oil (there should be no 1 in front of this, for some reason it keeps doing that on mobile)
- 1 ⁄2 cup mayonnaise (same thing here, just 1/2 cup)
- 1 ⁄4 cup parmesan cheese, grated (and again, just a 1/4 cup)
- 2 anchovy fillets, rinsed and patted dry (optional)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- large garlic clove cut in half
- French baguette, sliced
- 3 romaine heads, sliced in half lengthwise
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Soy Balsamic Sauce: Stir cornstarch and water until dissolve
- ½ cup Soy Balsamic Sauce (1/2 tsp cornstarch, 1 tbs water, 1/8 cup dark brown sugar, 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup soy sauce)
- ½ cup brandy
- ¼ cup hoisin sauce
- ¼ cup toasted sesame oil
- ¼ cup loosely packed fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
- 12 small cloves garlic, minced

- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 3 stalks celery, diced
- 1 medium red bell pepper, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 lb. organic ground turkey
- 5 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 shakes Tabasco sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 tsp. chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 pounds onions (6 cups), about 4, chopped
- 2 cups garlic cloves, about 4 large heads, chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme or 1 tsp dried
- 7-8 cups Chicken Stock or canned low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 loaf day-old French bread (about 1/4 pound/3 cups), cut into chunks
- 1 bouquet garni: 6 parsley stems, 9 sprigs fresh thyme or 1 1/2 teaspoons dried, and 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup half-and-half or heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
