Tuna Noodle Casserole

In a large bowl, thoroughly combine tuna, soup, milk, parsley and vegetables
- 2 (6 1/2 ounce) cans water-packed tuna, drained
- 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans reduced-sodium and fat condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp dried parsley
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
- 1 (10 ounce) package noodles, cooked, drained*
- 1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds

- 1 tsp baking soda

- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- Bottled caramel sauce, whipped topping, and pecans (optional)
Peppermint Hot Chocolate

- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup hot water
- 4 cups milk
- 3 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 1/8 tsp peppermint extract
- Large marshmallows (for marshmallow hearts) or peppermint sticks, for garnish
Old-Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Preheat oven to 325 F. Cream shortening and butter together
- Glaze:
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 to 3 tbsp milk
- Topping:
- Colored sugar crystals
Pumpkin Poundcake with Bourbon Whipped Cream

- 2/3 cup pecans

- 2 tsp baking powder

- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, slightly softened and cut into chunks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups canned pumpkin puree (without seasonings)
- Bourbon Whipped Cream:
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 6 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup bourbon

- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- Cooking spray
- Toppings:
- Maple syrup
- Butter
- Sliced, fresh strawberries
35-Minute Orange-Amaretto Citrus Bars

I am sure by now you know how much my family adores lemon
- 2 cups plus 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, divided
- 1 cup plus 1/4 cup powdered sugar, divided
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 Tbsp orange zest (about 2 oranges)
- 2 tsp amaretto (almond liqueur) or almond extract
- 2 drops orange food coloring (if desired to enhance color)
