Nobu's Famous Black Cod with Miso

Bring the marinade ingredients to a boil in a small saucepan
- For the marinate:
- 2-3 black cod fillets* (about 1 lb), substitute sea bass if black cod is not available
- 1/4 cup sake
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 4 tablespoons white miso paste, only white, do not use any other type of miso
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- *black cod is really sable fish
Spanx Stretcher Pie

Preheat oven to 325. Coat a 9 X 13 pan with PAM (or two 9-inch pie pans)
- Crust:
- 5 c. crushed Oreos (about 50 cookies)
- 6 T. butter, melted
- Filling:
- 1 gallon high quality coffee ice cream, softened
- Butterscotch Sauce:
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
- 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 c. heavy cream
- dash vanilla extract
- dash kosher salt
