  • 4 large Idaho or russet potatoes (2½ to 3 pounds), peeled and cut into chunks

  • 2 slices bacon, chopped or snipped with kitchen scissors
  • 2 pounds ground turkey or ground turkey breast
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 2 onions, chopped 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (eyeball it)
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning, such as Bell’s
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons snipped or chopped chives
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 2 large chicken breasts, each cut in half
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes cut in half

  • Cream together 1 1/2 sticks of butter and 1 cup sugar.
  • Add: 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • Then add: 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp ginger (even less)
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Mix together well.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls in sugar to coat.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes in moderate oven (about 350 degrees).
