Old-Fashioned Herb Stuffing

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 6 pieces (8 oz) bread, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 Tbsp margarine or butter
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins

Mix all ingredients except pasta in a 4-5 quart slow cooker
- 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 1 cup diced zucchini
- 1 cup diced yellow squash
- 1 cup green beans, cleaned and trimmed
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked rotini or macaroni pasta

1. In a large pot, cook bacon over medium-low, stirring occasionally, until crisp, 8 to 10 minutes
- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, chopped

- 2 cans (14.5 oz each) reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 large baking potato, peeled and diced
- 1 head broccoli (1 lb) cut into bite-sized florets, stalks peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen corn kernels
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 cup whole milk

- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup of white wine or water
- 1 cup herb seasoning stuffing mix, crushed
- 1/4 cup melted butter

- 8 boneless chicken breasts, skinned
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 cups mild cheddar cheese, finely grated or your favorite
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
