  • 1 1 1 pound tomatillos, husks removed,quartered
  • 1 1 1 cup diced white onion or two shallots
  • 2 2 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 1 1 poblano chili- roasted, peeled
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 1 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 2 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp of sugar
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 C cilantro- chopped
  • Garnishes: fresh cilantro, sour cream and hot sauce
