Devils Food Cake with Real Strawberry Frosting

1. Preheat oven to 350˚F
- devils food cake:
- 1 cup boiling coffee
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup superfine sugar (granulated is fine)
- 1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- real strawberry frosting:
- 1 cup fresh chopped strawberries
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 5 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Breakfast Tacos with Spicy Green Onion and Cheddar Scrambled Eggs

In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs until fluffy and add the green onions and jalapeno and whisk
- 6 eggs
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced green and white parts
- 1 large jalapeno, minced
- 1/3 cup cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayeene pepper

Summer Garden Whipped White Bean Dip

Place the beans in a food processor and blend until pureed and creamy
- 3 (15-ounce) cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
- 2 tablespoons ice water
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary, plus extra for garnish
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme, plus extra for garnish
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped chives, plus extra for garnish
- 2 ears grilled corn, cut from cob

Smokey Cheese & Pancetta Crostini

In a large plastic bag, combine cheese and paprika
- 2 cups Sargento® Chef Blends™ Shredded 6 Cheese Italian
- 2 Tablespoons smoked paprika
- 10-12 ounces diced pancetta (reserve fat from cooking)
- 1 baguette sliced in 24 pieces
- 1-2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 whole garlic cloves
- 2 Tablespoons finely minced parsley

- For the milkshake:
- 4 oz. chocolate ice cream (about 3 small scoops)
- 4 oz. butter pecan ice cream (about 3 small scoops)
- 1/4 cup whole milk, ice cold
- 2-3 tablespoons bourbon, to taste

- For the donut holes:
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- For the coating:
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
Chicken Thighs with Lemon Basil Sauce

Heat a large stainless skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon
- For serving, choose one:
- 4 strips of bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- zest from 1 lemon, about 1 tablespoon minced
- juice from 1 lemon, about 1/4 cup
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 8 large basil leaves, about 2 tablespoons finely sliced
- 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
- 3 raw medium-size Italian zucchini, spiralized or julienned
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta, cooked
- 2 cups Jasmine rice, cooked

- 1 1/4 cups finely crushed graham cracker crumbs (from 9 sheets)
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 6 Tbsp butter, melted (preferably salted)
- Cheesecake Filling:
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 3 Tbsp heavy cream
- 3 Tbsp sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Topping:
- 6 Tbsp granulated sugar
- Whipped cream, fresh raspberries and fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Brown Butter Layer Cake with Salted Bourbon Buttercream

- 4 ounces unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 10 1/2 ounces all purpose flour
- 3 ounces (9 tablespoons) cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 cup half and half (or 50% heavy cream and 50% whole milk)
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
- 8 ounces unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 6 large eggs, room temperature
- salted bourbon buttercream:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 5 large egg whites
- 16 ounces unsalted butter, cubed and at room temperature
- 3 - 4 tablespoons bourbon (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
Shrimp and Bacon Ramen Stir Fry

- 2 instant ramen packages, seasonings discarded
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) sesame seed oil
- 2 teaspoons (10ml) fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) chili garlic sauce, or to taste
- 3 pieces bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/2 medium onion, sliced
- 1/4 pound (113g) bay shrimp
