- Dough (12 empanadas)
- 1 kg. plain flour
- 250 grs. butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoon of baking powder
- 2 cups of hot milk
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 egg yolk to brush the empanadas

- 300 grs. shrimps
- 200 grs. of mozarella cheese

- 50 grs. grated parmesan cheese

- Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of plain flour
- 1/2 cup almond meal
- 2 tablespoons caster sugar
- 100 grs. chilled butter
- cut in cubes
- 1 egg separated
- white reserved for filling
- 2 tablespoon cold water
- Ricotta filling
- 3 or 4 pears cut in half boiled for 8 minutes
- or 1 can pear halves well drained
- cut in half
- 250 grs. smooth ricotta
- 2 eggs more reserved white
- 3 tablespoon caster sugar
- 300 ml sour cream or double cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

- 10 fresh figs (in quarters)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup of flour (70 grs.)
- 1 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 100 grs. of sugar (or other sweetened sugar like splenda)

- Ingredients (8 servings)
- Dough
- 1 cup of whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
- 1 pinch of baking powder
- 1 yolk egg
- 2 tablespoon of butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup water with salt
- Filling for tartas
- 1 or two chicken breast boiled ( I boiled with some onions, salt , pepper and cumin and is a nice soup, cook by 20 to 25 minutes) and the bechamel is made with some chicken broth.
- 3/4 cup of half-and-half- cream
- or double cream
- 1 Tablespoon of chopped green onion
- 2 tablespoon of flour
- 1 tablespoon of butter
