Remove crusts from bread and butter each slice generously on one side
- 1 loaf white bread
- 100 gm butter
- 4 apples, Granny Smith
- 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
- 1 x lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp grated orange
- rind 1/2 x orange
- juice of 1/3 cup sugar (caster) 1/3 cup raisins 1/10 tsp cloves
- ground 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- ground 500 ml vanilla custard
- 1 cup cream

#1 Scald the milk until almost boiling
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/8 tsp salt
- 3 c milk
- 2 tbsps butter
- 4 1/2 tbsps cornstarch
- 3/4 c brown sugar

- 8 tbl Unsalted butter - (1 stick)
- 1/2 loaf French bread or baguette with crust cut into small cubes
- 1 lb Brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup Water
- 1 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 2 lrg Granny Smith apples peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1 cup Walnuts chopped
- 1/2 lb Cream cheese chilled and chopped Heavy cream

- 5 1/2 cup Cubed fresh or stale Sourdough, wheat, or rye Bread
- 1/2 cup Raisins

- 1/2 cup Apple bitter
- 1 tbl Sunflower butter -)OR(- Tahini
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tbl Mellow or sweet miso
- 2 cup Amazake beverage OR Vanilla soy milk

- 2 sticks butter, soft
- 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1 cup raisins, rolled in flour
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. water
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
