  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup (4 fl. oz./125 ml) canola oil
  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 1/4 cup (2 fl. oz./60 ml) water
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 cups (8 oz./250 g) confectioners’ sugar, sifted, plus more if
  • needed
  • 2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice, strained, plus more if needed
  • 1 Tbs. heavy cream
