Farfel and Mushrooms

Heat half the oil in a large skillet
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 pound mushrooms, Portobello or domestic, diced
- 1 pound box Osem Whole Wheat Farfel
- 5 cups hot water (tap water OK)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Strawberry Mango Salad

Mix together
- 1/2 C suagr
- 1/4 C oil
- 1/3 C balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- almonds (for top)
- lettuce
- 2 C craisins
- 8 oz strwberries
- 1 large mango
- 1/2 C scallions
MeatLoaf

Mix ingredients for meatloaf and place in pan
- Glaze:
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 2 tsp water
- 3/4 C bread crumbs
- 1 TB oil
- 1 red pepper
- 3 scallions
- 2 cloves garlic
- Meatloaf
- 1 egg
- 2 TB ketchup
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 1/4 C ketchup
- 1 tsp spicy brown mustard
- 1 TB brown sugar
Fetticini Alfredo

Cook fettuccine according to package instructions
- 1 (pound) box fettuccine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1 cup grated parmesan
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Brussel Sprouts Roasted with Almonds

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat
- 2 Tb olive oil
- 3/4 lb Brussel sprouts
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp water
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 C slivered almonds
CheeseCake

1. Cream sugar and cream cheese until light and fluffy
- Glaze:
- 24 oz cream cheese
- 32 oz sour cream
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 6 Eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 TB cornstarch
- 1/2 jar cheery or strawberry jam
Frozen Tofutti Dessert (Devo Adler)

1, Mix rice krispies, cocoa, melted margerine and corn syrup
- 2 containers defrosted almond bark vanilla Tofutti
- 2 1/2 C rice krispy
- 2 TB cocoa
- 2 TB margerine
- 2/3 C corn syrup
- 1/2 C crunchy peanut butter
- 3/4 C chocolate syrup
Duck sauce/Bread crumb

1. skin chicken 2. coat in duck sauce and then dip in bread crumb
- bread crumb mixture (bread crumbs, matzah meal, paprika, garlic powder and salt)

Cream sugar, eggs, oil, apple sauce
- 2 C sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 C oil
- 1/2 C apple sauce
- 1 TB. Vanilla
- 3 C flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 C apples ( about 3 apples)
- Brown sugar for topping

- 3/4 .cup of cocoa
- 1 . 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 1 . Cup soy milk/ parvenu creamer
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 . Tsp vanilla
- 1 . Cup boiling water
