- Per Jar (1/2 Pint Size Jar, I use Kerr wide neck)
- Bottom layer- 1/4 cup white sugar
- Layer two- 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- Layer three- 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies (candy canes or starlight candies)
- Layer four- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (1/4 cup white chips, 1/4 cup semi-sweet chips mixed together)

- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (such as Dufour), thawed
- 1 egg, lightly beaten with a splash of water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or EVOO

- 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 2 small ribs celery, chopped
