  • Cupcakes:
  • 1/2 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. coarse salt
  • 16 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk
  • 1 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup sour cream, at room temperature
  • Caramel Sauce:
  • 8 tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Filling:
  • 24 fun-size Snickers bars, chopped
  • Frosting:
  • 16 tbsp. unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 lb. confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup caramel sauce
  • Pinch of coarse salt
  • 2 tbsp. heavy cream
  • Garnish:
  • 8 fun-size Snickers bars, chopped

  • Salsa:
  • 1 mango, diced
  • 1-1 1/2 cups diced fresh pineapple

  • 1 inch knob of ginger, peeled and minced fine
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. vinegar (apple cider or rice vinegar)
  • 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. cold water
  • Burgers:
  • 1 lb. ground sirloin
  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 1 or 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce

  • Bean Filling:
  • 2 tsp. canola or vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
