- 1/2 cup salted butter, softened to room temperature
- 8 ounce block of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 12 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chip
Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste
- 8 bone-in, skinless chicken thighs (about 5-ounces each), fat trimmed- in the photos for this recipe, you'll notice that I actually used 5 full chicken legs (drumstick and thigh) instead
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

- 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 medium red bell pepper, chopped
