- 1 stick butter (1/2 cup), cut into 16 pieces

Taco Soup

Brown hamburger and onion
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. taco sauce
- 1 (15 oz.) can corn, undrained
- 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
- 1/4 t. garlic salt
- grated cheese
- tortilla chips
- sour cream
Avocado Chicken

Between waxed paper, pound chicken to 1/4" thickness
- 6-8 chicken breasts
- salt, pepper, and flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 pkg. fresh sliced mushrooms
- 2 T. flour
- 1 t. celery salt
- 1/2 t. white pepper
- 1/2 c. chicken stock
- 1/2 c. white grape juice
- 1 avocado, peeled and mashed
- 1 1/2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
Banana Bread

Bread: Mix all ingredients above in mix master for 2-3 minutes
- Bread:
- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 t. salt
- 1 1/2 t. soda
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. buttermilk (or milk with 3 T. apple cider vinegar, let sit for 10 minutes)
- 1 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 1/2 t. almond extract
- 1 c. oil
- 1/2 c. softened butter
- 3 eggs
- 5 bananas
- 1/2 c. desired chopped nuts
- Glaze:
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1/2 t. almond extract
- 2 t. melted butter
French Dip

Put meat in crock pot. Sprinkle generously with all seasonings
- tri tip roast
- Kavender seasoning (or any Greek seasoning)

Apple Pie Ice Cream Drink

Simmer all ingredients, except ice cream, for 20 minutes in pot

French Toast: Mix all of the french toast ingredients together in a bowl

- 2 T. vanilla extract
- 1/2 t. cinnamon

- half a loaf of challah bread, cut into slices
- Syrup:
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1 t. vanilla
Pumpkin Cookies

Cookies: In medium mixing bowl, beat shortening with electric mixer on med-high speed for 30 seconds
- Cookies:
- 1 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 t. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1/4 t. baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1 c. canned pumpkin
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- Brown Sugar Glaze:
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 3 T. butter
- 1 T. milk
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
Fresh-squeezed Frothy Lemonade

Juice the lemons, add sugar and mix well until sugar dissolves
- 8 lemons, juiced
- 3 c. sugar
- 4 c. skim milk
- 1 liter club soda (or Sprite)
