- 1/3 cup (75 ml) butter, softened
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) grainy mustard
- 16 very thin slices prosciutto or Westphalian ham (about 1/3 lb/175 g)
- 16 breadsticks
Whipped Cranberry Dip

- 1 can (14 oz/398 ml) jellied cranberry sauce
- 3/4 (175 ml) cup drained prepared horseradish
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) whipping cream

Smoked Salmon Quiche with Leeks and Dilled Havarti Cheese

Melt the butter in a large skillet set over medium heat
- 1 medium leek, pale green and white part only, halved lengthwise, washed, dried and thinly sliced.
- 2 tbsp (25 ml) butter
- 4 large eggs
- 2/3 cup (150 ml) milk
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) light cream
- salt and white pepper to taste
- 5.3 oz (150 g) dill-flavored havarti cheese, grated (see note)
- 3.5 oz (100 g) smoked salmon, coarsely chopped
- 1 homemade or store-bought-deep-dish-pie-crust
