Coconut Beef Curry

Season beef generously with salt
- 1/2 pounds beef chuck, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
- Kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 large white onion, thinly sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped peeled ginger
- 3 tablespoons curry powder, preferably Indian
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 13.5-ounce cans unsweetened coconut milk
- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled, cut into 2-inch pieces
- Steamed jasmine rice, cilantro, thinly sliced Fresno chile, and lime wedges (for serving)
Lemon Brownies

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- For the brownies:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour {King Arthur All-Purpose Flour}
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt {Sea Salt}
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 Tbl lemon zest
- 2 Tbl lemon juice
- For the tart lemon glaze:
- 4 Tbl lemon juice
- 8 tsp lemon zest
- 1 cup icing sugar
Cherries Jubilee

•Melt butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat
- 2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 pound fresh cherries, stemmed and pitted, or frozen pitted cherries, thawed, undrained
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon bourbon or brandy
- Fresh lemon juice
- Vanilla ice cream

- 1 1/2 cups plus 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 cup oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup black bean garlic sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped

- 1 teaspoon red food coloring
- 6 12- to 14-ounce pork rib chops, each about 1 1/2 inches thick
