- CAKE
- 1 . 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 . 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3 . 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 . 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 5 . 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 6 . 3 large eggs
- 7 . 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 8 . 3/4 cup buttermilk

- 1 * 1 tablespoon Campari (optional, for colour)

- 1 * 1 tablespoon grapefruit zest (zest of one of the above grapefruits)
