Pumpkin Pancakes

Sift together all of the dry ingredients
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup pastry flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/16 teaspoon cloves
- 1/16 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/16 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1-ounce melted butter
- 4 egg whites, whipped to soft peak
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
Country Potato Salad

This updated picnic potato salad gets subtle flavor from smoked ham
- 2 pounds small potatoes, preferably heirloom
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 ounces smoked ham, sliced into strips
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives, or scallions
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint, or dill
- 3/4 cup nonfat buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon peanut or canola oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 2 large hard-boiled eggs, peeled and coarsely chopped
Chicken Salad Puffs

1.HEAT oven to 450ºF. Coat baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray
- Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1/2 cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
- OR 1/2 stick Crisco® Baking Sticks All-Vegetable Shortening
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
- 4 large eggs
- CHICKEN SALAD
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped cooked chicken
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped celery
- 3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped pimiento

- 1 box uncooked jumbo pasta shells
- 1 (26-ounce) jar chunky tomato sauce with onion and garlic
- 1 (28-ounce) can peeled whole tomatoes
- 1 package (8) uncooked pre-seasoned meatballs
- 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
- 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 (8-ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese (whole milk)
Peanut Butter Cookies

Mix sugars, peanut butter, shortening, butter and egg
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

1.HEAT oven to 375°F. Cream together shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Crisco® Butter Shortening
- 1/2 cup Smucker's® Creamy Natural Peanut Butter, stirred
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Sugar
- 48 foil-wrapped milk chocolate pieces, unwrapped
Whole Wheat Rolls

In a large mixer bowl, combine whole wheat flour and yeast
- 3.5 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 pkg. (4.5 teaspoons) yeast
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar (you may reduce to 1/4 cup, or sub. honey if you wish)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 eggs
- 3-3.5 cups all purpose flour
