- 8 1/2 ounces King Arthur Unbleached Cake Flour Blend
- 10 1/2 ounces granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 6 ounces cold water
- 7 unbeaten egg yolks

Caramel Apple Dip

- 3/4 cup (8 ounces) caramel, from a block or about 25 unwrapped caramel candies
- 6 tablespoons (3 ounces) butter
- 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) water
- 3 tablespoons (1 ounce) boiled cider

- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or apple pie spice

- 6 ounces 3/4" bread cubes, from stale bread
- 3 large eggs
- 10 ounces milk or light cream
- 3 ounces boiled cider or apple juice concentrate
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 3/4 ounces brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Apple Pie Spice
- 3 ounces raisins or dried cranberries
- 7 1/2 ounces diced unpeeled apples
- 3 ounces chopped walnuts, lightly toasted

- 1 pound dried spaghetti or linguine
- 1 medium onion, diced (about 1 cup; 5 ounces)
- 3 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced (about 1 cup; 6 ounces)
- 1/4 cup (1 ounce) chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup (1 3/4 ounces) freshly grated Parmesan cheese

- 2 egg yolks
