Parsnip Bread Pudding

Parsnips give an earthy dimension to this bread pudding, which melds cubes of brioche, grated cheese, and thyme
- 1 * 1 pound parsnips, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- * Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
- * Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1 * 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) unsalted butter, plus 1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons), melted, plus more for dish
- 2 * 2 large leeks, white and pale-green parts only, halved lengthwise, thinly sliced, and rinsed well (about 3 cups)
- 1/3 * 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 2 * 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
- 2 * 2 cups heavy cream
- 5 * 5 large eggs
- 1 * 1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 * 1 loaf (12 ounces) brioche, crust removed and bread cut into 1-inch cubes
Almond Crescent Cookies

Cream Butter and Sugar together
- 1 lb. Butter
- 1/2 C Sugar
- 2 C Blanched and Ground Almonds
- 2 t Vanilla
- 1 t Almond Extract
- 4 C Flour
- Powdered Sugar

- 1 C packed brown sugar
- 1 C tomato puree
- 1/4 C water
- 2 C white bread, cubed (crusts removed)

- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup panko
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Parisian Soup

Place onion, celery and ham bone in large soup pan
- 2-3 stalks of celery, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- Ham bone with Ham
- Large package of California blend veggies
- quart of 1/2 and 1/2 (can use fat free)
- 1/2 stick of butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley
- Water
Basic Pizza Dough

1. Heat the water and milk in a small saucepan over low heat until lukewarm, about 40 seconds
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 package dry yeast (2 1/2 teaspoons)
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar

- 1 Super Moist Chocolate Cake mix
- 5 T flour
- 1 1/4 C milk
- 1 C sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 C Crisco
- 1 Egg

- 3 squares of unsweetened chocolate
- 1 1/2 C powdered sugar
Corn Chowder

In a heavy saucepan, cook bacon until crisps
- 5 slices of bacon, fried crisp
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups cooked, canned or frozen whole kernel corn
- 1 cup diced raw potatoes
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- Salt and pepper to taste

Scalloped Pineapple

- 3 beaten eggs

- 3/4 lb butter
- 1 T garlic powder
- 1 T celery Salt
- 1 T chili powder
- 1 T tabasco or worchestershire
