CINNAMON ROLLS

- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. ice cream
PORK AND FENNEL RAGOUT

Grind the fennel seeds with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in a spice grinder or chop with a knife
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 3 1-inch-thick boneless pork loin chops (1 pound total), trimmed & sliced into 1/4”-wide strips
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 5 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 cup sliced shallots
- 1 small fennel bulb, trimmed and chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 10 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups red or white wine
SWEET POTATO BISCUITS

Heat oven to 450. Stir all ingredients until soft dough forms
- 2-1/2 c. Bisquick mix
- 1/3 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. mashed cooked sweet potato
- 1/2 c. milk
Christmas Tree Cookie Ball Pops

MIX cream cheese and cookie crumbs until well blended
- 6 oz. (3/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 pkg. (15.25 oz.) OREO Cool Mint Creme Cookies, finely crushed (about 4 cups)
- 2 pkg. (6 squares each) BAKER'S White Chocolate, melted
- 6 drops green food coloring
- 3 Tbsp. green and/or white decorating icings
- 40 cinnamon red hot candies
SODA CRACKERS

Work the butter into the flour with a pastry cutter or fork
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup butter (or margarine)
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- For the dough:
- 1 pound cream cheese, softened
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 pound butter or margarine (softened)
- 2 egg whites
- For the filling (choose one or more of the following):
- raspberry jam
- strawberry jam
- apricot jam
- nut filling (recipe below)
- Nut Filling
- 1 pound ground walnuts
- 2 cups sugar
- water
- Combine nuts and sugar. Gradually add water until mixture forms a stiff paste.
- Note: In English, these are sometimes also spelled Kolaches.
Jell-O Cookies

Tangy, sweet, soft & yummy
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Jell-O powder (I used strawberry, lime, orange and grape)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon lemon baking emulsion
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Gel paste icing coloring to boost the cookie color
THREE ONION SOUP

Trim about two thirds of the greens from the leeks
- 4 large leeks
- 3 onions
- 2 bunches scallions
- 2 tablespoons olive or canola oil
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herb blend
- 29.8 ounces Guinness Draught
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 4 rectangular Melba toasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
APPLE SYRUP

- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 12 whole cloves
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
