EVERLASTING YEAST

Stir in all ingredients and put in a warm place to raise until ready to mix for baking
- 1 quart warm potato water
- 1/2 cake yeast or 1/2 tablespoon dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
MOCHA MILK PUNCH

In blender container combine half the ice cream, the milk, bourbon, rum and crème de cacao
- 4 c. coffee ice cream (1 qt.)
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. bourbon
- 1/4 c. light rum
- 1/4 c. crème de cacao
CHURROS

In saucepan, bring water, sugar, and salt to boiling
- 1 c. water
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- Peel of 1/2 lemon
- Fat for deep-fat frying
- Granulated sugar or powdered sugar
HONEY GRAHAM CRACKERS

- 1/3 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey, warmed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
Churro Cupcakes

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Cake:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 (1 stick) cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- Frosting:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
GLORIFIED RICE

Cook rice in water and pineapple juice
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 c. mini marshmallows
- 1 can pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1/2 pint sour cream
- 1/4 c. maraschino cherries
- 1 carton cool whip
CHICKEN WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE

Place the chicken breasts between wax paper and pound with a mallet to flatten
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, each 4 ounces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 shallots, thinly sliced
- 1/4 pound mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose (plain) flour
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken stock
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
ICE CREAM SANDWICHES

Stir together corn syrup and peanut butter
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 4 c. rice krispies
- 1 pint ice cream, cut into 6 slices
HAWAIIAN CHICKEN SALAD

Beat cream cheese til fluffy
- 2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. Miracle Whip
- 1 (8 oz) can pineapple tidbits, juice reserved
- 3 (5 oz) cans chunk chicken, drained
- 1 c. blanched slivered almonds
- 1-1/2 c. seedless grapes, halved
HERBED CHICKEN IN PASTRY

Thaw the pastry sheet at room temperature for 40 minutes or until it's easy to handle
- 1/2 of a 17.3 ounce package Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. water
- Ground black pepper (optional)
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts halves
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 container (4 ounces) garlic & herb spreadable cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
