Slow Cooker Creamy Potato Soup

Place bacon and onion in a large, deep skillet
- 6 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 5 large potatoes, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
Hamburger Gravy

Place ground beef and water in skillet
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tbs butter
- 2 Tb flour
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 1/2 cups milk
Ham Sandwiches

You will need two 9 x 13 pans
- 2 -12 packages of sweet hawaiian rolls (the small dinner roll looking ones)
- 1 1/2 lbs of virginia ham (NOT honey ham)
- 12 slices swiss cheese
- 1 stick of real butter
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Chocolate Chip Bars

My mom's recipe for chocolae chip bars
- 2 sticks oleo
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Oreo Salad

Mix together pudding and milk in a bowl
- 3 oz chocolate pudding (instant)
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz cool whip
- 1/2 cup marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- crushed up oreo cookies (1/2 pkg?)
Chicken Breasts

- 8 unbreaded chicken breasts
- 1 can cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup Catalina French Dressing
- 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix, Lipton
Banana Bars

1. Heat oven to 375F. Grease and flour 15x10-inch jelly roll pan
- Brown Butter Frosting:
- 1-1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1-3/4 (3 or 4) ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1/2 c. butter
- 4 c. powdered sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp. milk
Chicken Fried Rice

To a large non-stick skillet or wok, add the oils, chicken, and cook over medium-high heat for about 3 to 5 minute...
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
- 3/4 to 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peas and diced carrots blend (I don't thaw and use straight from the freezer)
- 3 green onions, trimmed and sliced into thin rounds
- 2 to 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 4 cups cooked rice (I use white, long-grain or brown may be substituted. To save time use two 8.8-ounce pouches cooked and ready-to-serve rice)
- 3 to 4 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- salt and pepper, optional and to taste
Chicken Posole

In a large stock pot, saute onions, garlic, and poblano chillies in olive oil over medium hea until onions are soft
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 large yellow onions, chopped
- 2 fresh poblano chilli peppers, seeded and diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 quarts chicken broth
- 5 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 7 oz can chopped green chilli peppers
- 2 15 oz cans hominy, drained
- 2 15 oz cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 Tbsp hot Mexican chilli powder
- 2 Tbsp ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp ground oregano
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 8 oz Cotija cheese, crumbled
Oyster Stew

- Oysters, with liquor -- 2 pints
- Whole milk -- 4 cups
- Salt and white pepper -- to taste
- Tabasco or cayenne pepper - dash or pinch
