Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 teaspoons lemon essence
- 1 1/2 cups unsalted macademia nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 300°F.
Sift together flour, soda, salt. Cream together sugars, butter, and cream cheese and mix to form a smooth paste.
Add the sour cream and lemon essence and beat light and soft. Add flour mixture and nuts. Do not over mix.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 23 to 25 minutes. Transfer cookies to cool on wire rack.
