Ingredients
- 1 package Classic Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine melted
- 1 Orange zest
- 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 can frosting Creations Frosting Starter
- 1 package Frosting Creations Orange Crème Flavor Mix
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place cake mix, eggs, butter, brown sugar and orange extract in a large bowl. Stir with spoon until thoroughly blended. Stir in chocolate chips and ½ cup walnuts.
Mixture will be stiff. Once combined scoop 1¼ inch balls, round them and place on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes until cookies are puffed. This will produce chewy cookies.
