Spicey Shrimp & Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 16-20 Shrimp
  • ¼ Cup Sherry Cooking Wine
  • 2 Tbsp. Soya Sauce
  • 1 Large Scallion, thinly sliced
  • ½ Tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. Asian Sesame Oil (untoasted)
  • 2 Tsp. Minced Ginger (fresh)
  • 2 Tsp. Garlic
  • ½ Lbs Chinese Long Green Beans

Preparation

Step 1

Combine in mixing bowl:
The shrimp, sherry, soya sauce, scallion and red pepper flakes. Marinate in the fridge for at least 1-6 hours.

Heat in a skillet over medium-high heat, sesame oil, garlic and ginger. About 10 seconds, before garlic changes color, add beans and cook for 2 minutes. Beans should be turning bright green in color.

Add shrimp, and marinating liquid. Cook for another 3-4 minutes or until shrimp are pink and cooked. Stir frequently to coat the beans in sauce.

Serve immediately and enjoy!!
