Ingredients
- 1 box yellow butter cake mix
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 9 oz. coconut
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 8 oz. cool whip
Preparation
Step 1
Mix buter cake according to directions
Bake in 2 9 inch pans. Cool and split layers, making 4.
Cream together cream cheese and sugar, add sour cream, coconut and vanilla. Measure out 1 cup and set aside. Ice 2 layers. Take the one cup of reserve and mix with cool whip. Use this to ice the top and sides of the cake.
Keep the cake refigerated.
