Kiwi Fish

Ingredients

  • 1 pound white fish filets
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
  • Butter for frying
  • 1 small kiwifruit peeled, and sliced very thin
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Saute fish in butter in skillet, add salt and pepper. When brown on both sides remove to oven-proof platter.

Arrange kiwifruit slices on filets. Sprinkle lemon juice over top. Bake in 300 degree oven for 2 minutes or until heated through.

This recipe yields 2 servings; 5 carb grams per serving.
