Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 2 c packed brown sugar
- 1 c butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 c all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- Dash salt
- 8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 1 c creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 2 c confectioners' sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3-4 tbsp milk
- 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 13x9 pan with parchment paper. Grease paper.
In a large bowl, beat brown sugar and butter until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into sugar mixture. Fold in bacon.
Spread into a prepared pan. Bake 25-30 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Lifting with parchment paper, remove from plan.
For frosting, in a large bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until blended. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar, vanilla and enough milk to reach desired consistency. Frost blondies; sprinkle with bacon. Cut into bars. Refrigerate leftovers.
