Sour-cream Cheesecake

Crust mix well press into bottom of 10 inch spring form pan
- Crust:
- 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Filling:
- 4 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese softened
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 4 extra large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Topping:
- 1 (16 ounce) carton sour cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- Top with your favorite fruit
Pressure Cooker Beef Stew

Beef stew made quick and easy with a pressure cooker
- 1 (3 pound) boneless beef chuck, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 onions, chopped medium
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 3/4 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh thyme leaves, or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 pounds red potatoes, about 6 medium, scrubbed and scored with an X three-quarters of the way through the potato
- 1 pound carrots, peeled, and cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 pound parsnips, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley leaves

- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup yellow corn meal
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk (Buttermilk)

Husbands favorite soup
- 1 lb sliced fresh Mushrooms
- 52 oz. Beef Stock
- 2 large potatoes Cubed
- 2 Stalks chopped Celery
- 1 Onion large
- 1 Cup Hearty Burgandy Wine
- 4 tablespoons Medium size Barley
- 1/4 stick butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ( season to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper ( season to taste)
- 2 Garlic cloves crushed
CRAB BISQUE SOUP

In large saucepan or soup kettle, sauté celery,onion and green pepper in butter until tender
- 1 celery rib, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cans (14-3/4 ounces each) cream - style corn
- 2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed cream of potato soup,undiluted
- 1 cup milk
- 16 oz. Half+ half
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon White pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon season pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper
- FISH CHOWDER use above ingredients add variety of fish
