- 6-7 medium potatoes peeled and washed
- 1/4 of a medium yellow onion
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste

Sift together flour,salt,soda,cinammon,nutmeg,cloves,and ginger
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 Tablespoons Molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. ginger

- 2/3 cup of Crisco
- 1 tablespoon of salted butter
- 2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup of cold water
- shake of salt
