Nonie's Candied Nuts

Mix all ingredients in a non-stick fry pan
- 2 cups almonds
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla
Easy Holiday Eggnog Muffins

Eggnog flavor helps give these streusel-topped muffins their delightful taste
- Batter
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick, 2 ounces) butter
- 3/4 cup (5 1/4 ounces) sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups (10 1/2 ounces) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon eggnog flavor or 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups (10 ounces) eggnog or half and half
- Topping
- 1/2 cup (3 1/2 ounces) sugar
- 1/2 cup (2 1/4 ounces) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon eggnog flavor, optional
- 3 tablespoons (1 1/2 ounces) butter, melted
Bar B Barn BBQ Sauce

Bring all ingredients to a boil and pour over ribs
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 6 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

- 2 1/2 Tbsp orange juice
- 1 Tbsp wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp EVOO
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
One Dish Beef Stroganoff

Cook beef in non-stick skillet @ med-high heat until browned
- 3/4 lb boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 2 1/2 cups UNCOOKED fusilli or med. spiral egg noodles
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup light sour cream or plain yogurt
- 2 Tbsp worchestire sauce

- 1 cup chopped peanuts
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley (usually omit)
- (combine in a small bowl and set aside)
- 8 oz. white cheddar
- 8 oz. blue cheese, crumbled

Combine garlic with 2 Tbsp chili powder, balsamic vinegar, 2 Tbsp brown sugar, cayenne and salt in a food processor
- 8 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 racks pork back ribs
- 2 bottles beer (preferably pale ale)
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup instant coffee granules
- 2 Tbsp hot sauce
Classic Baked Beans

Stir onion with bacon, molasses, ketchup, dijon, salt and chile flakes in slow cooker insert
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 2 cups dry navy beans, rinsed
- 341 ml bottle of beer
- 3 cups water

- 2 cups dry navy beans, rinsed ( I boil for 2-3 minutes, soak for 1 hour first)
- 341 ml bottle of beer
