Friendship Bread Starter Recipe

It takes about two weeks to make this Friendship Bread Starter recipe, but then it will last a lifetime
- Ingredients
- 3 cups milk
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour

Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium heat

- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup diced prosciutto

- 1 cup chicken broth

- 4 (6 to 7-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts

- 2 cloves garlic, smashed with the side of your chef's knife
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

- 1 English cucumber, peeled, cut in 1/2 lengthwise, then cut into 1/2-inch chunks

Brown Soda Bread - Traditional Irish

- 250 g wholemeal flour
- 200 g plain white flour
- 1 teasp. bread soda, sieved
