Mock Beef (Soy Protein) Dumplings

In a large mixing bowl, combine the soy protein crumbles, onion, scallions, ginger, and garlic
- 3/4 lb soy protein
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup scallions, chopped
- 2 1/2 tbsp minced fresh ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, minced and crushed into a paste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 6 tbsp water
- Salt and ground pepper
- 1 package of dumpling wrappers
