- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds

- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Buttermilk Ice Cream

In a large, heavy saucepan, combine the heavy cream and one cup of sugar and bring to a simmer over medium heat

- 12 large egg yolks*

- 1/2 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 6 tablespoons cold water
- 1 dash salt and pepper
