- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 pound (about 2 cups) bittersweet (60 percent cacao) chocolate chips (recommended: Ghiradelli) see Cook's Note
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces, at room temperature
- Kosher or flake salt, optional
Parsley Pesto-Breadcrumb Spaghetti

- 2 bunches (5 to 6 handfuls) flat-leaf parsley leaves

- 1/4 cup (about a handful) pine nuts
- 1/2 cup (about 2 handfuls) breadcrumbs
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 cup grated Pecorino cheese
- 3 plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped
CREAM CHEESE SPRITZ COOKIES

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream together butter and cream cheese; add sugar
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1-1/4 cups sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. pure almond extract
- 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring (optional)
- 1 tbsp. butterscotch schnapps
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
