Sift self-raising flour and baking powder together into bowl
- 4 oz. self-raising flour (4 heaped tablespoons)
- 1 level teaspoon baking powder
- 4 oz. castor sugar (4 rounded tablespoons)
- 2 large eggs
- 4 oz. New Stork margarine
Bar-Style Pickled Eggs

- 24 eggs
- 1 Tbsp peppercorns
- 2 Tbsp pickling spice
- 4 C white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sea salt
- 1 Tbsp crushed red pepper

- 250 mL brown sugar
- 250 mL white sugar
- 4 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 / 2 C butter (added last)

- enough milk added to eggs to equal 1 C
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 C flour
- jam in middle

- 2 C butter
- 3 C sugar
- 2 eggs
- 5 1/2 C flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder

Dry Onion Soup Mix
