Sweet-Sour Pork

In a large skillet, over medium heat, melt shortening
- 1 pound boneless pork steak, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 tbls. shortening
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 3 tbls. brown sugar
- 2 tbls. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 15 1/4 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained,
- ( reserving 2/3 cup liquid)
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tbls. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. worchester sauce
- 1 green pepper, cut into 1/4 inch strips
- 4 cups cooked rice
Crab Cakes with Spicy Rémoulade

- Crab cakes:
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1 1/2 tablespoons canola-based mayonnaise (such as Spectrum brand)
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

- 1 pound lump crabmeat, drained and shell pieces removed

- 1 C. Butter, softened
- 2 C. Sugar
- 2 Ea. Eggs
- 1 C. Sour cream
- 1 t. Vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons McCormick Perfect Pinch Parmesan Herb Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons white wine
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Parsley Flakes
Meatloaf

Mix all and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated romano cheese
- 3 eggs beaten
- 2 tbls. parsley flakes
- 1 tbs. basil leaves
- 1 clove garlic diced fine
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/4 lb. ground veal
- 3/4 lb. ground chuck

I use ground turkey instead of beef and let it simmer for 2 hours
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 large clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
