Blackberry Chip Ice Cream

- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate
