- 2 cups store-bought ranch salad dressing
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 cup Sriracha hot sauce
Curly-Q Grilled Sausages

Place sausages into a skillet over medium heat and pour in water
- 2 (3.5 ounce) links Italian sausage
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 metal skewers
- 1 tablespoon barbeque sauce, or to taste
Corn Chowder with Prosciutto and Sage

Be sure to save the cobs for the chowder
- 6 ears corn
- 2 (15-ounce) cans whole kernel corn
- 5 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 4 ounces sliced deli prosciutto, finely chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 1 pound red potatoes, scrubbed and cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage leaves
Sweet & Spicy Korean Chicken Wings

To make things easy on yourself, cook the wings in the soy mixture a day before serving
- HEAT:
- 2 2 2 cups low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 2 2 cups water
- 1 1 1 cup sugar
- 2 2 10 lb. party wings (about 10 each wingettes and drumettes)
- SIMMER:
- 1/3 1/3 1/3 cup apple jelly
- 2 2 2 Tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 2 2 Tbsp. gochugaru
- 2 2 2 tsp. minced fresh garlic
- 2 2 2 tsp. rice vinegar
- 2 2 2 tsp. toasted sesame oil Sesame seeds
Martha Stewart's Slow-Cooker Italian-Braised Pork

Preheat a 5-to 6-quart slow cooker
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 1/2 pounds boneless pork shoulder
- Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes

Chocolate Malted Cake

Malted milk powder is a mixture of malted barley, wheat flour, and evaporated whole milk
- Frosting:
- 1 cup malted milk powder
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 tablespoons (3 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups (12 ounces) confectioners' sugar
- 6 ounces milk chocolate, melted and cooled
- Cake:
- 2 (5-ounce) boxes malted milk balls
- 1 ½ cups (7 1/2 ounces) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cups boiling water
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- ½ cup (1 1/2 ounces) Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder or instant coffee powder
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ½ cups packed (10 1/2 ounces) light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup sour cream, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Maple Lacquered Duck Breast

Preheat the oven to 375
- 2 duck breasts - mine were nice and fat from the farmers market - the size will of course affect the cook time
- 1/4 cup grade B pure maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- zest from one orange
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- salt and pepper
Minced Chicken and Cashews

Mix the sauces in a cup with the sugar - stir to dissolve
- Serves 2
- 2 cups minced chicken breast
- 1/2 cup roasted unsalted cashew nuts
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup white onion
- 1 cup Thai basil (if unavailable, use normal basil)
- 3 tablespoons oil (peanut is best)
- 1 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon light soya sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon dark soya sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 splash water (optional)
Poached Eggs with Mint and Yogurt

In a small bowl, stir the yogurt and garlic together
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, 2 percent milk fat or whole
- 1 small garlic clove, finely minced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 6 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon hot red-pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 8 eggs
- Toasted pita bread or another flatbread, for serving
