Mocha Brownie Frappucinos

Chinese Beef Broccoli Recipe

The secret ingredient in this dish is Chinese black vinegar
- 1/2 pound flank or sirloin steak
- 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound broccoli, cut into bite-size florets
- 1 tablespoon high-heat cooking oil (canola, vegetable, rice)
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- FOR THE STIR FRY SAUCE
- 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons Chinese rice wine (or dry sherry)
- 2 teaspoons Chinese black vinegar (or young balsamic vinegar)
Maryland Crab Cakes

- 1 large egg
- 2 1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise (I like Hellman’s Real)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup celery (diced finely, you’ll need one stalk)
- 2 tablespoon fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup Panko (I like the Whole Foods 365 brand for this recipe)
- canola oil
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tablespoon pickle relish (sweet)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon red onion (minced)
- 2 tab;espoon lemon juice (to taste)
- black pepper
- salt

- 1/4 ripe avocado

- 2 T balsamic vinegar (I like Fini Balsamic Vinegar)
- 2 T fresh lemon juice
- 1 T Dijon mustard
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T finely minced fresh garlic
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika or paprika
- (original recipe had cayenne pepper, which I stopped using through the years)
- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 1 breast of chicken
- 1 small package (found in produce department) stir fry vegetables including broccoli, sprouts, carrots and snow peas
- teriyaki sauce
- 3/4 cup LOW SODIUM soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 small garlic clove, minced fine
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Risotto Milanese

Coat a large saucepan generously with olive oil over medium heat
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 large onion, cut into 1/4-inch dice
- Kosher salt
- 2 cups Carnaroli or Arborio rice
- 2 large pinches saffron
- 3 to 4 cups chicken stock, kept HOT
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
