- 1/2 pound boneless chicken, cut into 1/4- to 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 small or 1 large potato(es) cut into small cubes
- 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup thick coconut cream*

- 1 to 2 cups coconut milk
