Shrimp Chowder

This shrimp chowder is quick and easy to make
- 2 large potatoes (peeled and cut into cubes)
- 1 large onion (diced)
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup milk or cream
- 1 cup raw shrimp (de-veined and shells removed)
- 1 tbsp butter or margarine
- salt
- pepper
Cinnamon Buns

Using a large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water
- Filling:
- 1/4 cup (63 ml) granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 (338 ml) cups warm water
- 2 1/2 tsp (1 x 8 g package) active dry yeast
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup (63 ml) cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp (2 1/2 ml) salt
- 4 cups (1000 ml) all-purpose flour, approximately
- 1/4 cup (63 ml) butter or hard margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) raisins
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) cinnamon
- Sticky Sauce:
- 3/4 cup (188 ml) brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter or hard margarine
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) corn syrup
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) cinnamon
- 1 cup (250 ml) chopped walnuts (optional)
Easy Flax Seed Bread

This is a simple and easy bread recipe
- 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/2 tbsp. Salt
- 1 tbsp. Granulated sugar
- 1/4 oz. Instant yeast
- 2 cups Warm water
- 3 cups All-purpose flour, approximately
- 1/2 cup Flax seeds
- 1 tsp. Melted butter or hard margarine
